As part of a longstanding SMSA tradition, we will be going on a Thanksgiving trip to Lake Tahoe over our thanksgiving break from 26-29th November.
Besides having the chance to try out skiing/snowboarding and explore the breathtaking Lake Tahoe region, you will also enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner and get to hunt for bargains at Vacaville Factory Outlet on the way back!
As we have a 35-person cap for the trip, please RSVP early here to ensure your spot! The official registration deadline is 26th October.
Trip includes:
-Transport to and from Tahoe
-3 nights' stay at an 8 bedroom vacation home (TBC)
-Thanksgiving dinner
-Breakfasts/snacks and one homecooked dinner
-All-day Skiing/snowboarding/snowtubing/ice-skating (group discounts)
-Shopping stop at Vacaville factory outlet
Fee (including all the above)*:
$170 for non-driving SMSA members
$140 for drivers (who are willing to drive rented cars)**
$110 for drivers with cars**
200 for non-SMSA members
*May be adjusted slightly depending on response
*Personal expenses (activities such as skiing/boarding, meals out etc) not included. Quoted group price for skiing/boarding iat Northstars $79p/person, but may be lower depending on weather conditions.
**Drivers will be fully reimbursed for gas & parking expenses
If you prefer to stay for 2 nights instead of 3, this should be possible as long as you are able to find other people willing to leave in the same car. Please indicate in 'additional comments' if you have any alternative preferences.

We are organizing a combined Singapore Food Trip with Stanford's Singapore Student's Association at the Banyan Tree restaurant in Union City this Saturday, 24th Oct!
The menu includes mouthwatering
1. satay
2. charkwayteow
3. kangkong belachan
4. hainan chicken
5. sweet and sour pork
6. lala clams
7. sizzling bean curd (tie ban dou fu)
8. rice
All for $10!

We will most likely be meeting at the Berkeley BART station at 7.30pm, but this will be confirmed later just in case we can get cars. Do let us know as well if you are able to drive!
