Berkeley Halloween costumes at your fingertips. Simply type in CostumeSuperCenter.com, search for a type of costume and then make your purchase. It is that easy.

SMSA members go on to prominent careers after graduation and these careers are often scattered throughout California and even back in Malaysia. For those students that end up moving back to Malaysia, it is important to find an international moving company that can handle personal belongings with care and deliver them in a timely fashion.

Conclusion of Makan Mania
posted Tuesday, 18th October 2011 6:23 AM GMT +8 by jakeyap
Hi everyone!

We wish to thank everybody who was present for Makan Mania over the past weekend. We hope you had fun preparing the food with your small groups. But more importantly, we hope you enjoyed the taste of home!

Here is a list of Constitutional changes which were voted for during Makan Mania:
1. All instances of the term "Event Manager(s)" shall be replaced with the term "Event Director(s)"

C1. The Incoming President will decide the number of Event Directors based on the needs of the club, and will be allowed to make adjustments should there be a change in needs.

C2. For each position, the candidate with the most number of votes shall be elected to the position. For the position of Event Director, the number of candidates (as specified by the President) who have the top number of votes shall be elected to the positions.

C3. In event that a candidate is elected to more than one position, that candidate shall have to decide which position he or she would like to accept. The position(s) that is (are) rejected shall go to the candidates with the next highest number of votes.

• Mandatory Executive Committee meetings will be called by the President to prepare for events and discuss issues related to the club.
• A 1/2 majority vote within the Executive Committee is required for an executive decision to be passed.

Study hard for the next wave of midterms and stay tuned for the next big thing - our Thanksgiving Lake Tahoe trip!

Thanksgiving 2011
posted Wednesday, 12th October 2011 9:52 AM GMT +8 by jakeyap
Hello everyone!

Wondering what to do for Thanksgiving? Wanna see snow, create snow fortresses and snowmen? Wanna take a shot at snowboarding and skiing together with a bunch of equally noob people? Well great news for you because SMSA is holding our Annual Thanksgiving Trip to Lake Tahoe!! :)

So here are the details:

When: 24th Nov - 27th Nov (Thurs - Sun)
Where: a nice lodge in Lake Tahoe, pretty near to skiing/snowboard area
Costs: $200 for 3 nights of accommodation, transport and meals in the lodge (how awesome is that!)
+$50 (estimate from last year) per day of snowboarding/skiing (includes rental of equipment)
          * see detailed costs below

What: this is the time of year for great bonding in the snow! With EPIC snow wars and interesting snowmen/snow creations that accompany. You'll get to explore Tahoe, have fun crashing together with your awesome SMSA comrades in the snow, and there'll be a lot of free and easy time, so if you really need to do homework/papers/study for midterms (by professors who evil-ly place them after holidays) there'll be plenty of time for you to study if you must! But most importantly, you'll be away from being alone in the cold, gloomy, ghost town of Berkeley (during thanksgiving), and spending it with your awesome, fun, and loving SMSA family outside of Berkeley, in a different part of California!

There are limited spaces, so sign up is on a first come first serve basis (with priority to freshmen and drivers)! So sign up here.
Please do so by Sunday, 16 Oct! And since it's first come first serve, we will not be able to accept any more people once it's full, even if it's before the deadline, so sign up soon!

If you have any queries, do email the webmaster or secretary!
